All the nuggets of gold on one page!Tuesday 06 October: Cairns to Sydney
Well that's it for northern Australia. We packed our suitcases, threw away the tent, and headed for Cairns for a final swim before returning the car and catching the 16:55 Virgin Australia flight for Sydney.
The flight was uneventful and we travelled by train from he airport to within 200 meters of our hotel - The York. At last, a real bed!
