Wednesday 07 October: Exploring Sydney harbour
We spent a lot of our day on public transport. We started with a trip out to Manly on the ferry which gave us a chance to see the greatest part of the magnificent Sydney harbour.
After a short walk at Manly we got the ferry back to Circular Quay between the harbour bridge and the Opera House. Then we caught another ferry to Darling Harbour, walked back to the hotel for lunch and then set off to find Chinatown (which we did).
After exploring Chinatown we took the bus to Bondi beach and then another bus up to Watsons Point. After that we took another ferry back to Circular Quay. Back to the hotel for a short rest before heading off again to Chinatown for an amazing dinner of Malaysian Hawker food.
Finally we went back to Circular Quay to catch the ferry (again) to Darling Harbour - but this time it was night so we could see the harbour differently with all the lights. Very pretty.
And then back to the hotel room to relax.
